Pisang tanduk on a fresh market in Sarawak, on the Malaysian part of the island of Borneo.
The Malay-Indonesian name of these large banana means ‘horn banana’ (fig.) and it is mostly used in cooking, especially to make fried banana chips, known locally as pisang goreng.
