Sri Lanka

Plantain or horn bananas ,belong to a subgroup of bananas that occur from Sri Lanka, to Indonesia and Malaysia (fig.), where they are called pisang tanduk and used to make fried banana chips, known as pisang goreng. In the background a bunch of Sri Lankan red bananas is visible which are locally (in Sri Lanka) known as rath kehel.
