Pitcher plants are tropical carnivorous plants mostly found within the Malay-Indonesian Archipelago, including the Philippines, but the greatest biodiversity is found on the islands of Sumatra and Borneo.

The one in these pictures were found in the wild in Sarawak, on the island of Borneo.
