This canvas painting depicts Chomphuphan (fig.) capturing the demon Phanuraat, who created a deceptive forest at the entrance to Lanka to ensnare Phra Ram's (fig.) army. Phanuraat, lying in wait underground, planned to bury Rama and his soldiers alive by overturning the land. However, Phanuraat was discovered, captured, and beheaded.
