Stamp on stamp design of the second stamp in the 5th series of Rama V (fig.), known in Thai as phra boromma roop songmah and in English as (Equestrian) Statue of King Chulalongkorn or Jubilee High Values, with a denomination of 2 ticals, issued on 11 November 1908, and with an illustration of the equestrian statue of King Chulalongkorn at the Royal Plaza in Bangkok's Dusit area (fig.), which was erected in the same year. In the top left corner is his royal cipher, i.e. the Thai initials of this king, i.e. Cho. Po. Ro. (จ.ป.ร.), which stand for Chulachomklao Piya Maha Raj (ปิยมหาราช), underneath the Great Crown of Victory, known in Thai as Phra Maha Phichai Mongkut (fig.). The background colour of the stamp is pink, which refers to the colour for Tuesday, i.e. the birthday of King Rama V, as defined in the Thai sih prajam wan system.
