its flight indicated by a trailing dotted line and
symbolizing
‘communication’;
Design 3. Picture of an early mail truck; a yellow
diamond-shaped traffic sign with a thin black inner border
and three black curved arrows in a circular motion,
indicating a roundabout; the first airplane used to
transport mail, that is

Siamese
license-built, Breguet 14

airplane (fig.),
brought in by the
Ministry of Defence
in 1919 to deliver mailbags (fig.),
thus coining the term Airmail;
