Four paintings
from different artists that were showcased at the Thailand
2023 World Stamp Championship Exhibition in
Bangkok:
1. Painting named
'Arun
Thepbut'
by Mr. Pannapat Techamethakul (ปัณพัท เตชเมธากุล), which
depicts the angel
Aruna
(fig.)
on a
horse
holding a letter sealed with a red heart. The design
symbolizes the bright development of
Thailand Post and its role as a
service to receive and deliver messages to people who await
the morning delivery of news, as Aruna is the charioteer of
Phra Ahtit, the sun god (fig.), who drives a chariot pulled
by seven horses; 2. Painting named 'Architectural Detail
Composing the Thai Number 140' by Mr. Teerawat
Thiankhaprasit (ธีรวัฒน์ เฑียรฆประสิทธิ์), which depicts a
beautifully patterned door (fig.)
of the
General Post Office
in Bangkok (fig.),
with the Thai number 140 (๑๔๐) in a font style corresponding
to the door pattern; 3. Painting named 'A Moment Filled with
Happiness' by Ms. Tatchamaphan Chan Chamrassaeng (ธัชมาพรรณ
จันทร์จำรัสแสง), that depicts an envelope and a crystal ball
filled with memories, symbols that represent the act of
writing letters to convey and share good feelings with each
other; 4. Painting named 'The Happiness of Waiting for the
Postman' by Mr. Chakkrit Anantakul (จักรกฤษณ์ อนันตกุล),
which shows a postman from the past in an uniform anno 1883
(fig.)
delivering a letter to someone. |
