 Subject:

1. The Manutsayanaak Manop Building at Wat Bowonniwet Wihaan Rachaworawihaan (fig.) in Bangkok, which was built in 1923 by King Bhumipol Adulyadej, i.e. Rama IX, and today houses a museum dedicated to the history of the temple; 2. Phra Suwannakhet (สุวรรณเขต), a Buddha statue which was moved from Wat Sra Taphaan (วัดสระตะพาน) in Phetburi, and Phra Phutta Chinasih (พระพุทธชินสีห์), a Buddha image that in 1830 was brought from Wat Phra Sri Rattanamahathat in Phitsanulok and placed inside the ubosot of Wat Bowonniwet, and of which the base today houses the relics of King Mongkhut, also known as Rama IV (fig.), whom had been ordained at this temple, and King Bhumipol Adulyadej, also known as Rama IX, who was ordained as a bhikku at the ordination hall of Wat Phra Sri Rattana Sahtsadahrahm (fig.) but afterwards went on to stay at Wat Bowonniwet for 15 days. In front of the Buddha statues are various sets of altar tables, of which one set of three altar tables was designed by Prince Narisara Nuwattiwong; 3. The Phra Suwannakhet and Phra Phutta Chinasih Buddha statues in the ubosot of Wat Bowonniwet but with a different set of altar tables as shown in the previous design; 4. Somdet Phra Maha Samana Chao Krom Phraya Wachirayahnawarohrot, the 10th Supreme Patriarch of Thailand, seated on the royal ordination seat, in front of the built-in bai sema (fig.) on the front side outer wall of the ubosot at Wat Bowonniwet (fig.), a Buddhist temple where many princes (fig.) and future kings have ordained; 5. Portrait of Somdet Phra Maha Samana Chao Krom Phraya Wachirayahnawarohrot, the 10th Supreme Patriarch of Thailand, who was born as Prince Manutsayanaak Manop, the 47th child of King Mongkhut, i.e. Rama IV (fig.).
