Wild gaurs, also known as Indian Bison and in Thai called krathing, at Khao Phaeng Mah in Wang Nahm Khiauw district, in Korat, where large herds regularly come out in the open to graze.

Wildlife enthusiasts from all over the country, and indeed from around the world, come here to observe these largest known wild bovine animals, with the binomial name Bibos gaurus, in their natural habitat.
