  waen fah (mirror)

Thailand

This waen fah mirror, inlaid with colourful krajok kriab mirrored glass, consists of three combined lotus bud-shaped panels with a single handle. The central mirror features a convex surface for practical use. It serves as a ritual object in the consecration of Buddha statues, known as Phithih Bok Phra Net, where sunlight is reflected into the statue's eyes to symbolize awakening.
