The inner door panels at the rear
of
Phra Thihnang Phutthaisawan
Royal Hall (fig.)
are decorated with door guardians, i.e. two angels who
subdue
two demons. The two angels
feature on a Thai postage stamp issued in 2008 as part
of a set of four stamps on door guardians, though the
panels have since been renovated and the direction of
their faces have been slightly altered. On the outside,
the door panels are decorated with
gilded lacquer
(fig.).
