An inside-painted crystal snuff bottle (fig.), known in Chinese as nei hua hu (fig.), with the illustration of a young tiger hand-painted on the inside surface of the glass, besides the text: you hu (幼虎) in Chinese calligraphy, which means ‘young tiger’ or ‘tiger cub’, and the signature of the artist, in this case David Kong.
