The new ubosot of Wat Thanya Phon in Pathum Thani, constructed between 1987 and 1999, stands adjacent to the old prayer hall, the smaller building visible here to its right.

The temple’s most revered object is Luang Pho Yim, a Buddha statue in the maravijaya pose, which according to tradition was found floating in Khlong Paet, the canal west of the temple, around 1867, with only the top of its head visible above the water.
