Wat Phutta Phrom Yan is a Theravada Buddhist temple situated on a natural river island in a pronounced meander of the Bang Pakong River (fig.) in Chachengsao.

The temple is notable for its secluded insular setting, as it is accessible only by boat, a characteristic that has contributed to its reputation as a tranquil sanctuary separated from the surrounding lowland agricultural landscape.

The temple’s highlight is Wihaan Kaew, or the ‘Crystal Chapel’. On the spacious first-floor hall stands Phra Wisutthep Somdej Ong Phatom (พระวิสุทธิเทพ สมเด็จองค์ปฐม), an 11-meter-tall crowned Buddha, seated on a throne in a Western-style posture.

The ground-floor interior of the wihaan boasts a grayish-white marble floor, with walls and pillars shimmering with glass and gilded adornments.

Next to the wihaan is the two-story pearl-white Thip Wimaan (ทิพย์วิมาน) boat, enshrining a smaller and gilded version of the Phra Wisutthep, Somdej Ong Phatom statue, and a gilded statue of Phraya Yom.

Inland from the riverside buildings lies a large, freestyle pond bordered by promenades, adorned with deer sculptures—an allusion to the Buddha's first sermon, further echoed in the dhammachakka (fig.) or ‘wheels of law’ decorating the fences encircling the water’s edge.
