Wat Mung Meuang
Wat Mung Meuang, a Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai, enshrines Phra Phutta Song Sih, a two-toned Buddha image, which is believed to have safeguarded the temple from destruction in World War II.
Uniquely, the bai sema, built over the look nimit at the eight cardinal points around the ubosot as marker stones, are here in the form of statues of the traveling monk Phra Siwalih (fig.).
