  Wat Krathum Seua Pla

Thailand

Luang Pho Phet, the principal Buddha image, enshrined in the ubosot of Wat Krathum Seua Pla,  is executed in a Sukhothai-inspired style recalling Phra Phutta Chinnarat (fig.).

This Sino-Thai temple features several such Buddha statues, which are seated in a decorative frame called reuan kaew (fig.), in the maravijaya pose and with an urna on his forehead.
