The Wishbone Flower, known by the botanical synonyms Torenia asiatica and Torenia travancorica, is a small ornamental creeping plant, with pale and deep purple flowers, with a dark yellow core.

Alternatively, this flowering plant can have light and dark magenta flowers, also with a yellow core, while its leaves are deltoid with a serrate margin, and are used in traditional medicine.
