The Thalang National Museum in Phuket, established in 1985, is the island’s main historical and cultural museum.

It showcases the island’s history and features exhibits on Peranakan culture, ancient maritime trade, and local communities.

There is also a section on the Indianization of Southeast Asia, featuring art and artifacts from Hinduism and Buddhism.
