Tham Chintamani,
an artificial cave sanctuary in
Chonburi,
conceived as a place of worship and aspiration inspired by Buddhist,
Hindu, and Thai mythological
traditions, and home to the world’s largest statue of Pho
Ngo.
The
site is located at the felicitous house number 999/99,
and known as
Ban Phuttha Barami Nop Kao,
literally
‘House
of the Ninefold Buddhist Virtues’,
a name referring to auspicious spiritual power and
accumulated merit rooted in Buddhist belief.
