Thailand has a system of separate driving licenses for motorbikes and cars, as well as for permanent use (fig.) or more temporary use, as the one shown here, which has a validity of just one year and is identifiable from the green band at the top.

On the front, it has in writing the type of vehicle for which its use is allowed, whilst on the back it has a magnetic data strip and a picture of the type of vehicle, for those who can't read. The license is issued by the Department of Land Transport.
