Somdet Phra Suwan Pathum Phutthaphotchana Woraphon, i.e. ‘His Holiness the Golden Lotus, Noble Ornament of the Buddha’s Teachings’, is the Phra prathaan or the principal Buddha statue housed in the Silver Ubosot ordination hall of Wat Don Yai in Pathum Thani (fig.). This large white Buddha image is also popularly known as Luang Pho Jai Dee Mang Mee Sri Suk, which roughly translates to the Venerable Father, Kind-hearted and Blessed with Prosperity and Well-being’.
