Silky or Silkie, a breed of domesticated chicken, with a unique, smooth and fluffy plumage, which is usually white and is said to feel like silk.

Unlike most other breeds, Silky has five toes, a black skin (fig.), black meat and black bones (fig.), which in China is used both as meet and in traditional Chinese medicine.

Silkies, also called Black-Bone Silky Fowl, are among the most docile of poultry and are considered ideal pets, as well as ornamental fowl.
