A sculpture of Shiva, with his consort Parvati and her son Ganesha, inside the Sri Maha Mariamman Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur.

In this portrait, both Shiva and Ganesha wear the tri-pundra on their foreheads, the sectarian mark of Shaivism, that consists of three horizontal bars. Both Shiva and Parvati also have a bindi, i.e. a red dot between the eyebrows.

In these giant sculptures at the Moonlaniti Mahathep, i.e. the ‘Shiva Foundation’ along Phetkasem Road in Nakhon Pathom, each figure in the trio holds a trident.
