A satkona depicted as a decorative symbol on one of the palace buildings at Fathepur Sikri (fig.).

 

In Hindu iconography, the three top triangles represent the Trimurti, i.e. Hindu divine triad Vishnu, Brahma and Shiva (fig.), whilst the three bottom triangles represent these deities' consorts or shakti, that is Lakshmi, Sarasvati, and Parvati, respectively, each positioned on the opposite side.
