The Sahn Peung Thao Kong in Ayutthaya is located on a headland at the intersection of the Chao Phraya River with the city canal known as Khlong Meuang.

The small pavilion, dedicated to the Tae Chew deity Peung Thao Kong, has an upward-curved roof that is decorated with porcelain rooftop dragons (fig.), a typical feature in Chinese palace and temple architecture.
