The escutcheon of
Ratchaburi shows two objects which are part of the
kakuttapan, namely the
Sword of State (Phra
Saeng Khan Chai Sri
-
fig.)
and the Golden
Sandals (chalong
phra baht
-
fig.)
placed on a golden
phaan. They refer to
the name of Ratchaburi which translated means ‘Royal City’.
