Phra Wachiraworakhun is the royal ecclesiastical title of Sermporn Dhammavaro, a highly educated monk, holding a Master’s degree and having achieved the highest level of Dhamma studies. For his contributions to Buddhism, he received the Asoka Pillar Award (fig.) in 2017 and, in 2020, was bestowed the Sema Dhammachakra Award (fig.). In 2022, he assumed key leadership roles within the Sangha, including abbot of Wat Sri Rattana Thammaram in Samut Prakan (fig.) and acting subdistrict ecclesiastical authority in the Dhammayutika Nikaya.
