The Kanchanaphisek Lighthouse at Laem Phromthep or Cape Phrommathep (fig.), on the southernmost tip of the island of Phuket, doubles as a museum.

It also has a memorial dedicated to Admiral Aphakon Kiatiwong (fig.), Prince of Chumphon and the Father of the Royal Thai Navy.
