The Patriarchal Seal Cypher of Somdet Phrasangkaraat Chao Krom Luang Chinwaralongkorn (fig.), the 18th Supreme Patriarch of Thailand, who was the abbot of Wat Ratchabophit (fig.) from 1948 until his death in 1988, aged 91. He was appointed to the position of Supreme Patriarch in 1974 by King Rama IX (fig.). The Cypher (fig.) of this Phrasangkaraat comprises of his initials in yellow, red and green letters underneath a white multi-layered parasol called a chattra (fig.).
