A Common Castor in dry-season form, spotted near Lumbini, in southern Nepal.

 

Above, the wings are rusty-orange, with brown wavy lines and a tiny white spot near the front edge of each forewing (fig.).

The wing pattern on the underside of the wings consists of alternating brownish and buff, wavy lines.
