  Notre Dame

Vietnam

The Notre Dame in Ho Chi Minh City (fig.) has stained glass windows, a number of them with depictions of Roman Catholic saints. Portrayed here are Saint Anne, the mother of the Virgin Mary and thus the grandmother of Jesus Christ, who is also the patroness of Brittany, and Saint Yves of Kermartin, the advocate of the poor, who is also the patron saint of lawyers and of Brittany.
