  Thousand-hands Kuan Yin

 

Thailand

Statue of the Mahayana Buddhist goddess and bodhisattva of mercy, known as the Thousand-hands Kuan Yin. She is said to use 1,000 eyes to look after all creatures that need help, and with her 1,000 arms, she pulls them out of the perpetual cycle of samsara, and subdues evil.
