Kuan Yin, the bodhisattva of mercy in Mahayana Buddhism, depicted on a lotus pedestal and as the thousand-armed and thousand-eyed goddess, i.e. with multiple heads and arms, also known as the Thousand-hands Kuan Yin and representing the power of miracles. She uses her 1,000 eyes to look after all creatures that need help, and with her 1,000 arms, she pulls them out of the perpetual cycle of samsara, and subdues evil.
