  jubbah

India

Muslim boys in India wearing a knee-long white jubbah, a traditional Islamic outer garment similar to the thobe (fig.), and which is commonly worn over a pair of loose trousers. These boys also wear a white crochet taqiyah, and thus are covering the entire body, except for the feet, hands and face, as is required by Islamic law.
