Tah phlohng, i.e. ‘wide open eyes’, is the Thai term used in iconography to refer to a style of eyes with certain characters in the Ramakien, and in which the pupil is completely visible and the eyes are somewhat bulging.

If a pupil is in part is covered by the upper eyelid, the style is referred to as tah jorakae (fig.).
