  Royal Warrant of Appointment

Thailand

A Krut Trah Tang Hahng, i.e. a sculpture of a red Garuda (fig.), similar to the one on the Royal Standard (fig.), but holding a green banner with the golden inscription By Royal Permission.

It is symbol for a Royal Warrant of Appointment given by the King of Thailand to any purveyor to the royal household or to someone that has shown exceptional services to the nation, allowing receivers to advertise royal patronage and mount this special Garuda sculpture on the roof of their company (fig.).
