TRADITIONS & UTENSILS
phuang malai
Phuang malai are a popular form of kaan jad dokmai. They are used as a traditional welcome gift, to pay homage and as an offering.
They are primarily made of fragrant jasmine, often with roses. On markets they are kept fresh with crushed ice or by sprinkling water over them.
