The reddish-orange seedpods of a tree, which is known in Thai as po khao. It is similar and related to the po daeng, but the latter tree grows taller, and has larger and broader fruits (fig.).

When ripe, the seedpods will burst open to release their seeds and the colour slowly changes to brown.
