A phum dokmai is a flower arrangement in the shape of a pear, i.e. an egg-like oval body, which is rounded at the bottom, but more pointed −almost cone-shaped− at the top. It can also be made from more durable materials, such as dried Globe Amaranth flowers (fig.), wax, silk, bronze (fig.), etc.
