krajo
is traditional silkworm breeding basket, typically flat and round,
reminiscent of a large
kradong mon
(fig.).
It is made of bamboo and arranged in concentric circles in which the silkworms are placed to build their cocoons. Depending on its size it can hold up to several hundred silkworms.
