The male attire for
both men and boys of the
Karen
tribe is a reddish
pink
sleeveless shirt with a v-neck. The cloth is woven into a decorative
pattern of fine stripes, and has some coloured ribbons at the bottom of the
neck. Young girls always wear a long white dress (fig.).
