Hong Kong

An ornamental jang jihn palm in Chi Lin Nunnery in Hong Kong (fig.). It is native to Southern China, which can be seen in its Thai name, i.e. jihn means ‘China´ or ‘Chinese’.

 

Thailand

And this one, in the photo on the right, stands in Korat, Thailand. In English, the plant is known as Reed Rhapis or Slender Lady Palm.
