A giant copy of a cong, i.e. an artifact from ancient China, that consist of a hollow cylinder with a square outside (fig.), of which it is believed that the square shape represents the earth and the circular form heaven, as in the ancient fang kong qian coins (fig.). Large cong, like this one in Tongli (fig.), are found as monuments in cities and villages across China.
