The monk Xuanzang (fig.) on his dragon-horse Yulong Santaizi (fig.). He is wearing a dbu rgyan (fig.), a ritual five-part crown, which has the shape of a lotus. This type of head ornament is usually worn together with a royal topknot, i.e. a stitched fabric hu lu-shaped topknot (fig.).
