World Post Day on October 9 and to recognize the importance
of postal services in the daily lives of people and
businesses around the world, as well as to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the formation of the Universal Postal Union, on 9 October 1874. |

mauve, that conveys the celebration of the Universal Postal Union (UPU)'s 150th
anniversary, with respect for diversity and communication between people. On a blue field
in
the centre is the United Nation's logo of the UPU,
i.e. a white cartoon

flanked by olive branches.
Underneath it is a Thai text describing the anniversary of the establishment
of the UN's Specialized Agency, 150
