Wat Wihaan Thong
Phra Attharot at Wat Wihaan Thong in Phitsanulok, is a 18 sok or ‘cubits’ tall, standing Buddha statue, that is portrayed with an abhaya mudra and represents a style that was popularly built during the Sukhothai Period.
It is one of just 6 such images that still exist today. The others are found at Wat Mahathat (fig.) and Wat Saphaan Hin (fig.), both in Sukhothai; at Wat Phra Sri Rattanamahathat (fig.), also in Phitsanulok; and at Wat Chedi Luang (fig.), in Chiang Mai.
