Wat Phra Phutthachai
Wat Phra Phutthachai is a Theravada Buddhist temple in Saraburi Province. It is located on a rocky mountain in a forested area.
On top of the hill, a footprint of the Buddha was discovered, which appears as an imprint in the exposed bedrock.
The platform at the summit of this part of the sanctuary offers some stunning and panoramic views of the area below.
The temple also has a cliff with am ancient painting of Phra Phutthachai, a Buddha image of which it is said to be in ‘various poses’.
At the bottom of the staircase that leads to the Phraphuttabaht, there are lots of macaques, that visitors are invited to feed.
