The royal ordination seat at Wat Bowonniwet (fig.), in front of the built-in bai sema (fig.) on the front side outer wall of the temple's ubosot. Many princes (fig.) and future kings ordained at this temple.

The monastery is still under royal patronage and for King Bhumipon a memorial plaque was installed over the bai sema at the ordination seat.
