The Paladandayuthapani Temple in Penang, also referred to as Penang Waterfall Hill Temple, is dedicated to Murugan, the Hindu god of war and a son of Shiva and Parvati.

 

His mount is the mayura or peacock, the national bird of India, that features abundantly throughout the temple complex's iconography and decorations.
