Dahb Hak
(fig.), a local hero who fought alongside

Taksin. The city was given the epithet
‘city of widows and
virgins’, supposedly because the region was a former front-line during invasions from
Burma. The province is known for having the largest
teak
tree in the world. It
is 1,500 years old and has a height of 47 meters and a diameter of 9.8.
Besides this, places of interest include the Phraya Phichai Dahb Hak
Museum, several waterfalls, National Parks, and the world's biggest
Nahm Phi sword (map

fig.). The
province has nine
amphur.
